Treasure Chest

The lovely Julie Ann Lee ( who I had the pleasure of meeting last Sunday x) showed us a wonderful project as GD for PaperArtsy this week.  I didn't have a suitcase to hand so decided to make a treasure chest instead.  I also couldn't wait to use the new JOFY paints either - love the Dusty Teal.

Afraid this is quick post as I'm supposed to be painting the bedroom - not as much fun and no crackle glaze or stamping allowed ! Hopefully my photos show what I've used.

  1. Lovely chest, the fabric and metal embellishments are lovely. Is that an atlas page inside? Good idea !

    1. thank you - yes it is, an out of date one but it still seemed wrong tearing a page out!

  2. Beautiful work, Sarah! I love the atlas paper inside, the embellishments and the lovely textures. Those little tags are so pretty too. Hope the bedroom is finished soon, so you can play some more! Thank you so much for playing along, even though you had decorating to do! It was lovely meeting you at Stevenage. Julie Ann xxx

  6. WOW love your treasure chest! So many little bits of added gems. Fab Tags loving the colours.

Think Dusty Teal & Amythyst are reminding me of Peacock Feathers & Seedless Preserves DI's, two of my fave ever colour combos. No wonder they are popular:-) x
