Personally I find the clean and simple styles harder to do - Joanne Wardle has given us 3 such projects this week over at PaperArtsy. I did intend to have a go at the first project, a fab technique for all manner of cards, but couldn't resist using my "leaf window" as a stencil for the background. The main leaf is Ferro with gilding wax on top. This is something I'll definitely but using for added interest to men's cards in the future. Thank you Joanne !
I love the way you've used the stencil to create the very subtle background - great idea!
ReplyDeletethanks Emma - couldn't see how to add a comment on your post - love your idea of using the same stamp as the background and focal point x

Fabulous card. I love background and beautiful green leaf.
ReplyDeletethat looks wondeful, I love how the one leaf stands out above the subtle background leaves. I also love how you've shown that my clean and simple cards can be interpreted into more complicated cards. Thank you so much for taking part. I am honoured to have inspired this beautiful creation
