As a lover of blue I was amazed that I only have 2 paints I'd call aqua Captain Peacock which I used for the background and South Pacific for the stencilling.
I've made myself a promise to cut down on new supplies and use some things that have never been out of the packet - we'll see how long that lasts !! I think I won these fish minis on the PA blog a few years ago.....
The blue obviously conjures up "sea" and was the perfect background for these two skeleton fish stamps. Everything was looking at bit flat - a quick rummage through my bits and bobs and found an organza bag, this was cut into strips and adhered around the page. I then cut an few weed shapes from some scrap and added a touch of stunning calypso WOW embossing powder.
I've started a few entries this year and either never finished them or not had time to blog them. Spare time has been taken up with my daughter Lauren and new son in law Ben's wedding prep. This was back on 10th June - here's the newly married couple
Myself and husband Tony
The reception was in a marquee we decorated- loads of bunting, vintage china and beautiful flowers arranged by the grooms mum.
Invites
And my card to them
And two days before this was our son Jacks 18th 😊 - this was taken at a family meal on the 3rd.
Thank you looking and will hopefully be taking part more often now.
